When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Applaud So Ltd. When it refers to "you", it means anyone who submits an application or otherwise provides personal data via launch.mba.

For data protection purposes, Applaud So Ltd is the data controller.

What data we collect

When you submit an application through the site, we collect the following information you provide directly:

• Full name
• Email address
• Product name or website URL (if applicable)
• Your current stage as a founder
• A description of what you are building or trying to sell
• What success would look like for you in 12 weeks

We do not collect payment details through this form. We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics on this site.

How we use your data

We use the information you submit solely to:

• Assess your suitability for a place on the Launch MBA cohort
• Contact you about the outcome of your application
• Arrange a short call if your application is progressed

Our lawful basis for processing this data is legitimate interests — specifically, the mutual interest of both parties in evaluating whether the programme is the right fit.

We will not use your data for any purpose other than those stated above, and we will not send you unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Your application is delivered to us by email via our hosting server. No third-party CRM, email marketing platform, or analytics service receives your application data.

How long we keep your data

If your application is unsuccessful, we will delete your personal data within 90 days of notifying you of the outcome.

If you join the cohort, we will retain the minimum data necessary to administer your participation, and will delete it within 12 months of the programme ending.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal obligations)
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
